New house quite close to old one ... just buzz me when you are near the old one :-)
We can go back to 'the good times' :-D ... if only Neeraj was also in Bangalore , it could be back to pclan !!

@ Neeraj
Ah ! Looks like I made two 'errors' in the listing .... it is audigy2 sound card and there is a 5.1 creative inspire speaker set.
Yep, sound could be better , and I will 'correct' this as soon as my bank account recovers :-)

@ V
Have to come up with a cool hostname .... suggestions ?

@ Anoop
Yep !! Anytime you guys are free ... should theoretically be less busy from COB today :-)

@ Anurag
Hehe , good to see you drop by ...
vi is hyper optimised app man ;-)
Even on my first 'slow' P133 , I could never see it show any perceptible delay for anything !
The response time might change from 10^-2 s to maybe 10^-4 s on avg ... nothing which will be visible to enduser :-)
Hmm , what about opening a few MB sized files and stress testing ?
Yahoo messenger ... different story , what with all the audibles and what not :-)
(I know I am asking for trouble by answering you ... cant forget Nagendra incident ;-)
But what the heck , remember - I still have your dvd writer :-D)

Not only you, but also Doom III monsters will take advantage of the horsepower and RAM! So better be conservative when choosing hardware ;-)
Well if I forgot to tell you that I envy you for having such a baby, that's because I got choked :-)
I suggest you find a recursive acronym for the hostname ...

As long as you don't call your machine something like er4z3d, it's fine. ;)

With my old machine , it works the reverse ... the monster responses are timed (speed , etc) , same for projectiles , rockets , etc.
With the old card , the graphics ends up becoming pretty close to individual frames (esp when lot of objects on screen) - one sec the rocket is 15 feet away , next it is on my face (yes , you do get to see the designs on them sometimes : pretty cool aerodynamic shape and all that - though I dont think that counts when playing an fps ;-) ).
If nothing , that will stop now :-D

Recursive acronym - cool idea ! Now why did I not think of it ?!

@ Noufal

Hehe, 'point' taken :-D
