Problem 51
Finally took a serious look at Project Euler as a treat to myself ... and I just solved problem 51 :-D
The very very hacky solution is available here (search for mridul), and took under 5 seconds to run to completion on my box.
My initial thoughts on the problem were totally wrong ... but the final solution was surprisingly simple ! Onwards to other problems solved by less than 1000 people at Project Euler :-)

awesome ! (not that i saw your soln/problem 51).
I just started with PE and at problem 8. Maybe ill blog abt problem 51 in sometime :) !
I just took the first problem which was solved by < 1000 people and started work on it- which happened to be 51 :-)
I did 60 later in that day, and moved on to 177 (less than 100 was criterion - randomly picked).
I have solution, but it does not match theirs because my definition of similarity of quads might be buggy :-D
all the best ! PE is amazing fun when you make free time to look at it :-)
